While developing a public relations and media skill set, I have been building my personal brand and reference projects through a variety of related course work. Using what I learn hands on from SRU and internship experience, I am able to showcase my best works.

Photo and Audio

Falling Water Photo Essay

With this piece, I developed and implemented a photojournalism project of Falling Water, including highlights on its architecture and history. The photos are my own taken and edited, along with a showcase of the story. I used a Canon camera and Mac photo editing software.

Audio Story

​

In this audio interview story, I take listeners through a five minute audio visual about the culture of the Greek dish of grape leaves. The audio brings in real interviews of my family members' recipe and the impact of our heritage all while demonstrating my audio project creation.

Internship Content

Program Guide Design

During my internship at Reality Tour, I was able to create and design a program guide that would highlight the non-profit's mission and features.

Internship Fact Sheet

Within this fact sheet design, I created a layout that follows the Reality Tour style guide and color set. The fact sheet discusses the program initiative and where the public can find common information.

Digital Designs

SRU Poster Design 

​

Through course work in digital design, I used Adobe Illustrator and Indesign to aid in my creation of an SRU inspired graduation poster.

Magazine Layout

​

In digital design, I learned how to construct a modern magazine design layout. I used Adobe on this project, placeholder photos and text that align with the health magazine theme. I also created mock-up advertisement pages within the magazine.

Within this fact sheet, I used the fiction clothing brand I created to design an informative and visually appealing piece as a part of a PR writing project.

Within this brochure design, I created a fiction brand, where I created the logo, style guide and brand elements to put into a cohesive PR writing project.

CDR Pop-Up Shop Pitch Brief

​

As a media relations assignment, I learned how to develop a pitch brief of a chosen event and story angle from the point of view of an SRU PR practitioner that would target a specific reporter. This pitch brief provides examples of the story, its relevance to news value, spokespersons involved and content written for the reporter.

IMC Campaign Proposal

​

In a case studies assignment, I learned how to develop campaigns based on communication problems of a brand. This integrated marketing campaign proposal focuses on Irish Spring and a strategic approach to increase consumer awareness through a "Smell Like a Pro" campaign.

AT&T Brochure 

​

In this brochure design, you can view a mock-up AT&T advertisement that was created using the brand's style guide and logo. This piece highlights elements of my design skills.

Robin's Home Vet-Net Social Media Campaign

During my time in my Public Relations Capstone coursework, I was a part of 4-person group in developing a semester long social media awareness campaign for Robin's Home, a non-profit female veterans housing program in Butler, PA. The link below is the website showcasing the overall campaign proposal and all of its elements. The site itself was created by myself and highlights my design and writing skills.
