Although target swim essentials are usually the go-to for most of us, there are many more sustainable options for your favorite lounge and beach products. I have been a fan of these brands for a few years now, and I personally have had positive experiences with all.

Sand Cloud is an eco-friendly, ocean saving motivated brand that consists of beach and bath towels, blankets, SPF products, and accessories. All products are sustainably sourced and made in Turkey, featuring their turkish cotton. 10% of Sand Cloud’s profits are sent to a variety of non-profit marine conservation organizations. Their mission is to donate parts of their profit to several marine conservation organizations to clean the ocean of the 8 million pieces of plastic pollution that covers our waters. #savethefishies

Vitamin A is popularly known for their swimsuits, based out of California. They use a proportion of eco-friendly materials including organic cotton. They also manufacture locally to reduce their climate impact. Coola’s packaging is 100% recycled, recyclable, and biodegradable. Vitamin A also donates parts of their profit to ocean cleaning organizations and environmental organizations to mobilize their community and support their brand and meaning behind their swimwear. The brand is entirely devoted to preserving water use, waste diversion, avoiding emissions, and saving energy.

Coola sells various sun care and face products including, most popular, their sunscreen. They use organic formulas that are clean, vegan, and cruelty free. Coola also focuses on maintaining their ethical and responsibly sourced packaging. They have created a Farm-to-Face commitment to their brand that highlights and ensures we are all informed of the importance of natural farming and the benefits of the ingredients to ourselves and the world.

Next time you're planning a trip to the beach, or even for spring break coming up next semester, think about trying out some of these sustainable brands that I hope I could put on your radar!
